In 1979 the College of Pharmacy- Baghdad University established a semi-annual specialized scientific journal, under the name "Iraqi Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences". The aim of this journal is to support scientific knowledge, encourage scientific research and publication for the purposes of scientific promotion. The journal issued since its establishment until June/ 2019 Twenty nine volumes and Thirty nine issues.
